gravity

Gravity…I walk on this earth and my planet holds me here… how is that two objects attract each other? How is it that the largest has a stronger force than the smaller one?
When you are in loved the only reason you know you are not floating is the existence of this force, that constantly pulls you down, holds you in place, makes you stay instead of not….
I was listening to this song that I recently purchased, well not the song, but the whole cd. I love the way this woman describes certain things in her songs, “my feet haven’t touch the ground ever since you gave wings to my heart”…I close my eyes and I can go there, where love takes over and you are defying gravity….
I have no doubt that love is the force, the only force stronger than gravity, that allows people to fly, to detached them self from the place they are, to float and touch the clouds, to visit the moon and kiss the stars.
When love touches you, you defy gravity, but you are also so glad that it is gravity what holds you down, so you don’t just go floating with no end.
One has to keep some sense of center, some sense of control, some sense of security, and gravity then is what keeps you here, gravity is what makes you know that you are not just floating uncontrollably.
I walk on this earth and my planet holds me here, and I let love take me in a trip where I can touch the sky.
When should it be the right moment to fly? Would you dare to defy gravity? Would you enter the space and let love take over?
It seems that when you are young you do not question this feelings, you just close your eyes and take this dive. Jump in with no fear. And so you float, you go up there where no force can keep you down.
Then you grow up, nothing then is as easy as that.

To love is to defy gravity, and gravity is then your best ally to continue on this earth unharmed …or not? J
